Allie Su is currently a full-time collaborative pianist at the Oberlin Conservatory and a piano faculty member at the Oberlin Community Music School. Su has taught and performed in the U.S., China, and Italy since moving from her native Taiwan in 2006. Su is a regular guest artist at Tunghai University in Taiwan, teaching and coaching collaborative piano. She served as a collaborative pianist for the Perlman Music Program, Interlochen Center for the Arts, American Viola Society, Cooper International Violin Competition, and Meadowmount School of Music Summer Festival. She served as a coach and staff pianist for the Land of Enchantment Opera, Young Artist Program at the Butler Opera Center, and Franco-American Vocal Academy.
She performs concerts and recitals, teaches and coaches chamber groups, and leads master classes at several universities and high schools. She also served as a pianist in ISING! International Festival in Suzhou, China. Su has a DMA in collaborative piano from the University of Texas in Austin under the tutelage of Anne Apperson and an MM in piano performance from Arizona State University.
